A group of summerhouses in the Hveragerdi/Selfoss area, this self-catering option is the perfect base from which to explore the southwest. Located conveniently close to the world-famous Golden Circle, the volcano of Mount Hekla and the thriving bird cliffs at Dyrholaey as well as horse riding facilities, this is a fantastic place to stay while seeing Iceland on your own.
The cottages are approximately 75-80 sqm total space – consisting of a large downstairs area and an upstairs sitting room. Well spaced from one another, your party will enjoy a high level of privacy and each can accommodate 6-8 adults in 2-3 double beds and 2 single beds.
The towns of Hveragerdi and Selfoss are close by, which makes shopping for supplies or heading out to dinner just a short hop. And of course with all that Reykjavik has to offer, a night out in the capital is also perfectly feasible.
Facilities include kitchenette/lounge area, shower, TV/video, radio/CD player, wireless internet. The outdoor hot tub and barbeque are located in the fenced patio (70sqm) that surrounds the cottages.
