Things to do
The lodge has its own enticing pool and a spa, but if you’re feeling energetic there’s also a selection of nature trails to discover, as well as use of the lodge’s canoes to explore the surrounding lagoons and waterways. Optional experiences can be arranged too – perhaps take a river cruise all the way to the Nicaraguan border, with the chance to spot crocodiles, kingfishers and vultures along the way. Or take a guided kayak trip, venture into the jungle on a night hike, or search for the rare great green macaw on a birdwatching tour.
