Located just eight kilometres from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern boundary of Etosha National Park, Mushara Lodge is a comfortable overnight stop for visitors to Etosha.
The thatched public area includes a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, an airy lounge complete with welcoming fireplace for winter evenings and the dining area. Great attention has been paid to the décor, which is an eclectic blend of traditional African and modern works of art. One of Mushara’s prominent features is its large swimming pool, surrounded by green lawns which are kept perfectly manicured by visiting wildlife.
This stylish lodge contains 13 spacious rooms, all with a verandah, air conditioning, mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities. The chalets are arranged in horseshoe shape around the swimming pool.
Near the lodge you may see plains game such as kudu, oryx, eland, zebra and giraffe. Guided bush walks can be arranged in the reserve as well as game drives into Etosha.
