Just five minutes from the heart of Rotorua where the city’s Polynesian Spa celebrates the area’s geothermals, guests staying at On the Point Rotorua can book a range of activities, including water sports, island cruises and fishing trips.

The hotel itself offers a range of facilities, such as onsite massages and beauty treatments, a gym, in which to keep fit, and a magnificent restaurant. The hotel’s world-class chef prepares fabulous New Zealand cuisine, accompanied by fresh vegetables and the finest wines from the lodge’s cellar. Breakfast and dinner is served to all guests and lunch by prior appointment. Guests can choose to dine in the main dining room, their own suite, a private dining room, the wine cellar or, on warmer nights, outside overlooking Lake Rotorua itself. The daily four-course table d’hote dinner is preceded by drinks and canapes by the fire or on the terrace.

Individually decorated, each of the 12 spacious suites has its own unique charm with en suite bathroom and separate lounge area. All but one includes lake views and all have a TV, hairdryer, mini-bar and tea and coffee making facilities for use.
