Designed around the relics of the Skeleton Coast’s famous shipwrecks, this remote lodge opened in June 2018 and is a unique opportunity to explore one of Namibia’s most wild and remote regions.
Shipwreck Lodge is the only accommodation to be situated within the iconic Skeleton Coast National Park, nestled between the Hoarusib and Hoanib Rivers approximately 45kms north of Mowe Bay. Here you can take in stunning views of the surrounding dunes, windswept coastline and distant mountains.

The lodge also features 10 ensuite guest rooms (8 twin cabins and 2 family tents). All guest rooms contain a wood burning stove and offer ocean views.
During your stay all meals, local drinks and activities are included. You may wish to join a game drive to track desert-adapted elephants, explore the relics of shipwrecks and whale bones along the endless beaches, visit the fascinating Clay Castles or enjoy a sundowner from the top of the dunes.
