Built in 1993 as a replica of the original Linden of 1920, she has an ice-strengthened hull enabling a safe passage through the icy waters around Svalbard. Powered by 350 square meters of sail, she can surpass 12 knots and if the wind is absent, Linden can travel comfortably on her engine.
The spacious outdoor viewing areas are a key feature, offering panoramic views of the Arctic landscape and opportunities to photograph the wildlife and nature all around. Inside, Linden has 5 twin berth cabins with private bathroom and 2 single cabins using a shared bathroom, as well as two lounges with plenty of windows so you can keep watch of the scenery even at meal times. The bar lounge is a great place to mingle with fellow travellers and where the meals and briefings are held. And after time spent outdoors, what better way to warm up and relax than in the sauna on board.
