With only 12 sumptuous suites, this luxury lodge is situated on a 5000 acre working sheep farm that overlooks the magnificent Palliser Bay in Martinborough.

Settled in area of world-renowned vineyards that produce award-winning Pinot Noirs, Sauvignon Blancs and Chardonnays, this is an idyllic setting to spend a few days relaxing while sampling the dozens of nearby wineries. Guests are welcome to explore a classic side of New Zealand life and tour the sheep station itself, watching sheep-shearing and witnessing the sheep-dogs in action.

The lodges imposing main lounge offers traditional New Zealand hospitality, inviting guests to mingle with a quiet glass of wine while sampling pre-dinner canapes. Guests sit together at the grand tables, ensuring that meals more closely resemble a dinner party while savouring some of the area’s finest local produce.

The 12 suites are found in cottages that are scattered around the grounds, offering an open fireplace, under-floor heating and cosy sofas on which to relax. Each room is en suite and includes a TV, tea and coffee maker, mini-bar, hairdryer and in-room safe.
