Planning Your Holiday in Australia

Australia is a vast country of great contrasts and a little planning is essential to ensure you make the most of your time here. Our team are on hand to help you create the holiday of a lifetime!

Tailor made holidays Australia

We can tailor make any itinerary to suit your requirements. However, only you know exactly what you want from your holiday, so to help us create your perfect itinerary, simply let us have an idea of your interests, timescale and budget and we’ll take care of the rest, ensuring your time away will be fun and hassle free.

When to go

Australia is a year round destination. The southern temperate zone has four seasons which are the opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere; with summer months Dec to Feb offering long hot days and cooler temperatures in the winter (Jun to Aug). In the tropical zone (northern Western Australia, Northern Territory and northern Queensland), there are just two seasons, ‘green/wet’ (summer – November to May) and ‘dry’ (winter – April to October).

Where to stay

We can mix and match any style of accommodation, from motels to boutique hotels to tropical island resorts, and can also make suggestions to suit your specific budget and personal preferences. You can view selected properties by region.

Activities & excursions

There are a wide variety of things to do in Australia that will enhance your holiday and provide you with memories to last a lifetime. From guided wildlife tours, snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef or enjoying a sunrise breakfast at Uluru, there are endless possibilities that will allow you to make your experience unique.

Getting around

With vast distances between key destinations, why not take advantage of Australia’s network of roads, rail and air services. Domestic flights enable you to see key destinations in a short space of time, while crossing the country by train gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the diverse scenery in comfort. Shorter routes can easily be covered with a few days self-drive, either by car or motorhome, but if you’d rather let someone else drive then why not consider one of our escorted touring options instead?

Getting there

Flying routes between the UK and Australia are virtually limitless meaning that ‘getting there’ is often more than just a journey – it is part of the experience. From preferred airlines, cabin upgrades and favoured stopover destinations, let us know your route and we’ll find the best airfares for you.
