Formerly known as Myvatn Nature Baths, Earth Lagoon draws geothermal water from depths of 2,500m to create a stunning outdoor lagoon rich in minerals. Soak in milky-blue geothermal waters whilst taking in the magical views of the area around Lake Myvatn.
The Earth Lagoon is a lower-key alternative to the famous Blue Lagoon near Reykjavik, and are a great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It is natural and unique, allowing for a true Icelandic bathing experience.
The lagoon is open all year round, with the water at a consistent temperature of 38-40 degrees Celsius. During summer you can enjoy the long daylight hours and in winter, you have the opportunity to see the northern lights overhead whilst floating in the warm water.
Getting there
If you book a self drive or tailor-made holiday that includes the north east Iceland area then you can simply stop by at the Earth Lagoon (during opening hours) as part of your itinerary.

I'll happily help you get into hot water in Iceland, crafting your experience just as you want it.
