Evening Kayak Trip

Introduction

During the Arctic summer the sun never sets and you can make use of the fantastic midnight sun and explore the Adventfjord by Kayak all evening.

This tour allows you to make the most of your time in Longyearbyen. Spend the evening paddling on the Adventfjord in the 24 hour sun. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful fjord surrounded by it impressive mountains. The trip begins with a thorough briefing on kayaking and how to use the equipment. No previous kayaking experience is needed. A qualified guide will lead you out through the water and share the highlights of the area with you. Keep an eye out for unique Arctic wildlife. Migratory birds including Eider Ducks and Barnacle Geese are often seen.
