A perfect introduction to Chile’s capital city.
This entertaining half day tour visits the main attractions of Santiago, the country’s most important cultural, cosmopolitan and artistic hub. Start in the city’s civic center, with Cerro Santa Lucia, a centrally located historic urban park. Continue to the La Moneda Palace (presidential offices) and the traditional Plaza de Armas square, a meeting place for Santiago’s diverse and multicultural society. There are many buildings of historical value in this neighborhood, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Museum of History (entrance fee not included) and Central Post Office. Later, walk through the Parque Forestal, a park running parallel to the Rio Mapocho, which divides the city in two. Finally, arrive in Barrio Bellavista, Santiago’s bohemian neighborhood, with some of the best bars and restaurants in the city.
