Hike down to the La Fortuna Waterfall for breathtaking views and the chance for a refreshing dip.
Picture 70 metres of cascading water, surrounded by lush green vegetation and exotic birds flitting amongst the plants. This moderate hike will take you down a 500-metre stairway through perpetual mists and greenery to the base of the falls. Take in the sights along the way and look out for toucans, orioles and other birdlife.
At the bottom you’ll be rewarded with an incredible view of the waterfall, and time to swim in its cooling waters, before tackling the hike back up. A typical Costa Rican lunch is included.
