Northern Light Snowmobile Safari, Tromso

Introduction

Heading out from Tromso into the wilderness of the Troms region, this excursion will take you to Camp Tamok, a wilderness camp 75 minutes away.

Once there, you will be given instructions in the safety and handling of your snowmobile, before heading out into the snow-carpeted Arctic wilderness.

Partnered with another driver, swapping on route you will have the opportunity to get both the rush of handling the vehicle over your 30km trail and simply enjoying the incredible scenery as it slips past. You will make several stops along the way to search the night sky for the northern lights*.

One of the most common means of transport for those living in the isolated north, no winter holiday in the Arctic region is complete without at least one trip by snowmobile. A hot meal is included after the activity, as well as warm outer clothing and footwear.

*Aurora sightings cannot be guaranteed.
