Introduction
Leaving the bright lights of Reykjavik behind, this excursion takes visitors to look for the northern lights from the unusual perspective of the sea.
Sailing away from the coastline of Iceland’s capital city, guests will travel out into the dark skies of the open north-Atlantic.
An area untouched by artificial light pollution, on clear nights it is possible to witness one of the world’s most spectacular natural phenomena.
Displaying a pallet of colour, from peridot green to royal purple, the northern lights dance their complicated path across the polar sky.
With beautiful mountains and the hushed glow of the city lights forming a backdrop, this is an unforgettable chance to witness the aurora borealis. Departure subject to weather and northern lights conditions and a replacement coach service may be used if the sea conditions are not suitable.
Please note that sightings of the northern lights can never be guaranteed.
Duration: 2 hours approximately
