A traditional means of travelling over the Arctic snows, there will be plenty of time before departing this evening for visitors to get to know the Alaskan huskies who will lead your sled.
Once on board the reindeer-skin-covered sled, you will be whisked along into the magical winter night, the serenity of this northern land broken only by the jangle of husky collars and the crunch of their paws on the snow.
All eyes will be on the northern skies awaiting the dancing marvel of the northern lights, yet, even if the aurora borealis are elusive, you will still have the unique experience of a dog sled ride out in the winter landscape of Swedish Lapland.
On the tour, an experienced guide will take you to a lavvo (traditional Sami tepee) where you will have a chance to warm yourself beside the open fire and enjoy a light snack. Minimum 2, maximum 12 participants.
Please note that sightings of the northern lights can never be guaranteed.
