After wrapping up in warm and thick winter gear, you will bundle onto the back of a traditional husky sled where you will relax while being pulled through the silence of the night-entrenched forest.
The sound of the sled gliding over the snow, broken only occasionally by the bark and yip of the dogs, will break the silence, as all eyes are trained on the myriad of stars that reveal themselves in the skies above you. Far from the interference of unnatural light, this is the perfect place to find the dancing colours and flares of the elusive northern lights. With snow sparkling around you, even if the northern lights don’t appear you will still experience an enigmatic journey into the night-cloaked wilderness of Lapland by dog sled.
Please note that sightings of the northern lights can never be guaranteed. This excursion must be pre-booked and cannot be booked locally at the Icehotel.
