Introduction

The wilderness that surrounds the Icehotel is some of Swedish Lapland’s most varied and idyllic, offering ice-covered lakes, rich green forests and lush, snow-covered marshland.

Travel by snowmobile is a popular means of transport in the Arctic areas, not just a thrilling ride, but a good way to get off-road and explore the yet untouched northern corners.

This journey allows guests to experience this magnificent north by snowmobile and, sharing with another driver, visitors will be able to both experience the thrill of driving, while also relaxing and enjoying the view.

A stop will be made at one of the area’s wilderness camps, where a traditional Swedish fika, or coffee break, will warm travellers before continuing the journey.
