The train from Córdoba to Granada is a scenic 2.5–3-hour journey through rolling plains, olive groves, and traditional villages, with the Sierra Nevada foothills appearing as you near Granada. The train arrives at Granada Station, conveniently connected to the city centre.

Start your visit with Granada’s crown jewel, the Alhambra. Explore the intricate Nasrid Palaces, the historic Alcazaba fortress, and the stunning Palacios de Generalife Gardens. Take your time to admire the detailed Islamic architecture, tranquil courtyards, and panoramic views over the city and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Explore the city’s famous tapas bars in the Albaicín or city centre, where many restaurants serve complimentary tapas with drinks.

Begin today’s adventure in the Albaicín, Granada’s historic Moorish quarter. The 1.5-hour train ride from Granada to Málaga winds through Andalucía’s rolling hills and charming villages, gradually opening up to stunning views of the Mediterranean coast. The journey ends at Málaga María Zambrano Station, conveniently located near the city centre. Start your visit in the historic city centre, wandering the narrow streets and stopping at Plaza de la Constitución. Explore the Alcazaba, a well-preserved Moorish fortress, and the nearby Roman Theatre. For panoramic city views, climb up to Gibralfaro Castle.

Immerse yourself in Málaga’s vibrant art scene. Visit the Picasso Museum, celebrating the city’s most famous son, and explore contemporary works at the Centre Pompidou Málaga. End the day with a relaxed dinner at a traditional Andalucían restaurant in the city centre or along the Muelle Uno waterfront.
