Overview

Nestled in a beautiful forested location, Ranua Wildlife Park, just south of the Arctic Circle, is home to a whole host of native and other wildlife. Here you can observe wolves, lynx, moose and a polar bear! With different duration’s available and the option to include winter activities, you will have plenty of time to relax and share precious experiences with family and friends.

This great value-for-money winter break, lets you spend quality time together and share wonderful experiences that you’ll treasure.

Based in comfortable two bedroom semi-detached villas just across the road from the Ranua Wildlife Park, you’ll enjoy unlimited entry throughout your stay, giving you plenty of opportunities to get to know its 50 animal species. The villas, which can sleep up to 6, have a fully-equipped kitchen and lounge with log burner, and the addition of a private Finnish sauna will have you feeling like a local in no time!

There are several winter activities to choose from making this holiday flexible so you can do as much or as little as you please for those who may wish to relax and soak up the peaceful winter surroundings. Perhaps enjoy an optional day trip to nearby Rovaniemi (with lunch) where you can sample the Finnish design shops at the Arctic Circle, visit the Arctic museum and exhibition centre or, the favourite for kids of all ages, Santa Village! As well as the more active pursuits such as snowmobiling, husky sledding; snowshoeing and nordic skiing.

Itinerary

On arrival in Rovaniemi, transfer to Ranua where you will check into your Villa for a 3 or 4-night stay. Transfer time is approximately 1 hour.

Over the next few days you will have time at leisure to enjoy the wildlife park or relax in the cosy villa. Perhaps embark on another optional winter excursion.

After breakfast, check out of your villa and transfer to Rovaniemi airport for the flight home.
