Best Group Tour Ever

While planning a trip to Iceland for a year and a half, I looked at every site I could find. I kept coming back to Discover The World every time. We finally booked In Jan for a Nov 2025 trip. The customer service was always prompt even when my contact person changed. All my questions and concerns were addressed. The website and the App were not only useful, but we would visit them often in anticipation of our trip. During the process there were several flight change issues including the US Government shut down that delayed our trip by one day. Discover The World and the airlines JetBlue and IcelandAir solved the problems with no stress on our part. The trip itself which was booked thru GJ Travel tours in Iceland was by far the BEST small group tour we have ever been on.
Discover the World offers many options in many countries. We definitely recommend them and we will be back again for our next adventure.

Last-Minute Trip, Perfectly Organised – Sweden in Full Colour

This was a last-minute booking, but everything was handled seamlessly. Flights were organised without any hassle, and all our activities were perfectly slotted into place. The trip itself was incredible—Sweden’s autumn colours were breathtaking, with vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows creating a stunning backdrop for every outing. From peaceful walks through forests to exploring charming towns, the experience felt both relaxing and well-planned. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free holiday that exceeded expectations.

Service was excellent from helping us devise a bespoke 5 week trip across Canada to making all the travel, accommodation and excursion arrangements. The trip was just what we'd hoped and the arrangements worked perfectly.

Fabulous Tour of Southern Norway

Met the brief of our holiday, clearly explained things, kept up to date with any changes. Accommodation as listed and various which is what we wanted. Had a wonderful time seeing so much of the country, often away from the crowds.

Northern Norway Island Explorer

Well constructed self-drive tour of Northern Norway. Amazing scenery, some really great accommodation and plenty of activities. All worked really well going through 8 different hotels over 14 nights.

Family holiday to West Coast of Canada.
Discover the World were fantastic yet again (4th time and getting even better). The agent who helped us (Doug) was incredibly knowledgeable of Canada and not only helped with the general itinary but also made some amazing suggestions that made the holiday truely unforgettable . We would not have thought of the locations or experiences on our own.

Also appreciated the speed in which we got help with some minor last minute questions.

Tailored to our needs

Great Iceland tour

Well planned trip with good easy car hire. Hotels were all of a high standard.
The agents answered all our queries and made sure my wife who is gluten intolerant with coeliac disease was able to eat comfortably in all the hotels.
We found the forest walks near Egilsstadir difficult to find following your instructions but eventually found some walks at the Hotel Hallormsstadur so all was ok. We found going to Hrisey island a delight of birds and flora. Worth a mention in your itinerary?
We drove round the peninsula north of Blonduos. Big mistake gravel roads for miles!
Hveragerdi was also a delightful town with a great little geothermal park and geyser. Better than the one at Geyser!
Overall a great holiday.
