Take a dip into the Arctic nature and enjoy peace and tranquility in a unique floating Spa hotel located on the shore of the Lule River, just a few minutes from the village of Harads in Swedish Lapland. Arctic Bath is a year-round resort, transforming from a free-floating hotel during summer time to being frozen within ice during winter. Whenever you choose to travel its energy changes along with the nature that surrounds it - soaking up the midnight sun and endless daylight to bathing under the glow of the magnificent aurora. This is a truly special place to relax and enjoy the different wellness facilities it offers.

The inspiration for the Arctic Bath hotel comes from the timber floating era – a reminder about the importance of forests during the country’s development. The main building represents a jam of floating timber set in a circular shape surrounding a central cold bath formed from the Lule River.
This separate building includes the spa facilities with hot and cold baths, different saunas, treatment rooms, lounge area, bar and restaurant. For accommodation there will be 12 cabins in total, 6 floating cabins for couples with private access from the shore via a foot bridge and 6 larger cabins sleeping up to five guests on land.
Arctic Bath hotel provides the focus for wellness and mindfulness during your stay. The nature around provides the ingredients for different activities and culture nearby, and if you wish to heighten your natural experience further we recommend an extra night or two at the inspiring Treehotel nearby, with just seven rooms, this time floating among the forest trees for a very special stay and enhancing your experience for a unique holiday in Swedish Lapland.

The Arctic Bath is an extraordinary floating spa hotel located on Lule River near the small village Harads in Swedish Lapland. Built on the water, the hotel floats during summer and freezes into the ice during winter embracing the region’s seasonality.
Constructed using local materials and with very little impact on the environment, the circular design of the main building is centred around an open-air plunge pool.

Day 1 arrive in Lulea
Fly from London Heathrow to Lulea via Stockholm. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Arctic bath Hotel (journey time 1 hour 15 minutes). Get settled in to the accommodation and enjoy the set 5 course evening meal.

Days 2-3 relax at the Arctic Bath Hotel
Time at the spa resort can be spent enjoying the wellness facilities and arctic nature. There will also be a selection of optional activities which can be pre-booked, including fishing, hiking and kayaking in summer, skiing in winter and Sampi experience and reindeer visit year round.
