Day 3: Melbourne – Phillip Island (122 Miles)

This morning collect your car from the rental depot and head southeast from the heart of Melbourne towards the seaside fishing village of San Remo - the gateway to Phillip Island. Stop to admire the daily pelican feeding at San Remo wharf before continuing on to Phillip Island. Phillip Island is a nature lover’s paradise. This morning make your way to The Nobbies, the most south- westerly point of Phillip Island. From here you can witness Australia’s largest colony of fur seals, where over 16,000 reside on Seal Rocks. Watch from the viewing area as the seals frolic in the water or alternatively join an eco-boat cruise to see these inquisitive creatures up close. Visit Peninsula Hot Springs, Victoria’s only natural thermal spring and relax in the tranquil oasis here before driving up Arthurs Seat and admiring the dramatic coastal views across the bay to Melbourne.

Day 6: Mornington Peninsula – Apollo Bay
