Full description

Discover the highlights of British Columbia as you take to the skies in a floatplane. The floatplane is the quintessential mode of transport in western Canada, and this route combines three of the region's most popular destinations with the chance to enjoy breathtaking views, from ocean to mountain tops.

After time to explore the city of Vancouver, take off from the city's downtown harbour to cross the Strait of Georgia en route to Vancouver Island. You will land in Victoria Harbour, just a stone's throw from this charming little city's hotels, shops and restaurants. From Victoria you will take to the air once more, crossing back to the mainland and flying over snow-capped peaks to land on Green Lake, at the alpine village of Whistler.

Your West Coast Floatplane Adventure ends with a final scenic flight back into the heart of Vancouver. This itinerary is ideal for those who prefer not to drive or are short on time – or for those simply looking for an unforgettably Canadian experience!

The rest of the day is free to explore Victoria with its turn of the century architecture, boutique shops and British traditions such as the ever popular afternoon tea.

Day 4: Victoria Whale Watching

This morning depart on an exhilarating cruise in search of orcas, minke whales, grey whales, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife, which can be found in abundance in the nutrient-rich waters off BC's Pacific coast.
