Do Now Activities – January 2020
Back by popular demand, these “Do Now Starter Activities” are a great way to get students settled and on task as quickly as possible.
The PowerPoint has 10 prompt questions and source images, based on topical geography news that has happened in the last couple of months. The questions cover a variety of topics including: natural hazards, climate change, ecosystems and plenty more!
The purpose is to help students forget their previous lesson or break-time conversations and re-focus their mind, get them thinking about a geographical topic and concept before the lesson begins.
They could have completed the task in the same time it takes to take the register – but by the time they have finished it, they will be completely ready for you!
