Glacier Lodge, West Iceland

The location is incredible: drive 15 minutes in either direction and you will find the spectacular waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss or Skogafoss; the breathtaking South Coast is also close-by, and there are mountain views from your living room window. Inside the cabin it’s cosy, with chunky wooden furniture, leather sofa and wood-panelled walls adorned with local art. The kitchen area has a table where you can set up your laptop. When it’s time for a break, simply step outside for a rejuvenating soak in the hot tub or head out for a walk in the unspoilt Icelandic wilderness.
