A bit about me…
Travel has always been my passion, I studied travel & tourism in college and started my career in Travel in 1997 working for an independent tour operator. I was lucky enough to get the chance to visit some incredible places in my time and after working for various UK tour operators and travel agents I wanted a new challenge, I joined Discover the Word Education in May 2023 to use my skills in the educational travel market.
What do you love most about your job?
I love travelling, when I was a child I wanted to be an Air Stewardess when I grew up, they always looked so glamourous and got to travel everywhere, but once I started working in the sales side of travel I soon realised that I could still travel but also make holiday dreams come true, there is nothing quite like putting a great itinerary together and the excitement felt by your customer.
What are some of your most memorable travel moments?
Going on Safari in Kenya, was an amazing experience and such an eye-opener.
What is your must-pack travel item?
Factor 50 face cream – I am always burning my nose!
