What drew you to the travel industry?

I spent a year at university in France and decided to find a job to stay for the summer. This led to my first role with a tour operator and I have never looked back! My career has taken me to  all corners of the globe including Canada, France, Turkey, Norway, Switzerland, New Zealand and Australia.

What are some of your most memorable travel moments?

Swimming with Whale Sharks off the coast of Mexico – a lifelong ambition which lived up to all expectations! Seeing the infamous midnight sun whilst celebrating Midsummer’s Eve with bonfires in Ulvik, Norway. Climbing the stunning Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier in the South Island, New Zealand… The list is endless.

Which excursion or activity do you most recommend?

Glacier Hike and Ice Climbing. Also head out to Jokulsarlon it is an unusual experience to hear ice breaking of the glacier and see it floating out to sea. Seeing all the small icebergs washed back up on the black sand beaches is stunning.

What are your top tips for organising the best school trip possible?

Understand your budget and plan for student numbers changing through to departure.
