Where you stay
Set on the historic grounds of an old homestead, this sustainable bush camp feels wonderfully remote.
Stay in handcrafted cabins overlooking Chinitna Bay, surrounded by some of the most pristine wilderness on Earth. Finished in birch and knotty pine, each cabin features a front wall of windows that frame uninterrupted views of the beach and bay, where bears often forage for clams on the tide flats right in front of you! Inside you’ll find two comfortable twin beds, electrical sockets, en suite bathroom with flush toilet, a sink with hot running water, and a propane heater to keep the coastal chill at bay. Hot showers are available in the nearby bathhouse, maintaining the camp’s eco-friendly ethos.
Enjoy delicious meals prepared by the resident chef. The focus is on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including fish and seafood from the regional waters. The timber-framed dining hall and lounge provide a warm, light-filled gathering space, with floor-to-ceiling windows that seamlessly blend the indoors with the surrounding wilderness.
