Coral Discoverer
Introduction
Perfect for an Antipodean adventure, the Coral Discoverer has plenty of space inside and out on deck, with an experienced expedition team on hand to share their wealth of knowledge.
Maximum passengers: 72
Refurbished in 2016, the Coral Discoverer is an ideal choice for expedition cruising in the Southern Hemisphere. She was built to the exacting international SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) standards and specifications and is staffed by a friendly Australian and New Zealand crew.
The ship is equipped with latest technology active stabilisers to ensure comfortable cruising in open waters and is fitted with modern safety and navigation equipment, as well as wireless internet facilities. Her shallow draught and excellent manoeuvrability allow her to explore the smaller bays and inlets that larger ships can’t reach, whilst the onboard tender vessel, Xplorer, can carry all 72 passengers on excursions to beaches and rivers.
All guest cabins feature original artworks and contemporary design, with air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and external views. Public spaces are relaxed and welcoming, with a library and a lounge, as well as a choice of bars including the new Explorers Bar located out on the sun deck. Swap tales with fellow-travellers, learn from the expedition team’s wealth of knowledge and keep watch for wildlife.
