Favorite Bay Lodge offers an unsurpassed luxury wilderness resort offering twelve spacious guest rooms, each distinctly designed with lodge pole furnishings, plush bedding, native Tlingit artwork, and private baths.

The Lodge features a dramatic native cedar great room with a 28 ft vaulted ceiling, glass front windows for a perfect panoramic view of the water’s edge, mountains, and all that nature has to offer. The second-story vaulted loft above the great room includes a library and a guest office.

Each day guided excursions are available to ensure you maximise your time in this pristine landscape. Explore the beautiful and protected Tongass National Forest or paddle through endless waterways on a kayaking adventure, uncovering hidden bays and deserted beaches. Join a whale-watching cruise in the Chatham Straits where humpbacks congregate to bubble-net feed and orcas and porpoises are frequently sighted. Learn to fish like a local or simply relax in the library as bald eagles soar past the windows.

Due to the remote location of the lodge a minimum 2-night stay is required to fully appreciate the wilderness and enjoy the variety of activities on offer. Each package includes return flights to the lodge from Juneau, all meals, guided activities (fishing, whale watching, hiking, kayaking, crab trap pulling) and gratuities for lodge staff.
