Constructed with native timbers and local stone fireplaces, this 10-room lodge has stunning views of Lake Te Anau and the mountains of Fiordland National Park.

An area of renowned natural beauty, guests can enjoy the area on fishing trips, bird watching excursion and nature walks, all to be arranged through the lodge.

The hotel’s open architecture reflects the vastness of the nearby national park, and echoes of the forest are found in the striking natural timber construction. High ceilings, full trunk pillars and a massive riverstone fireplace provide a warm and spacious environment with a sense of solidity and style. A commanding staircase leads from the impressive lounge to a peaceful inviting mezzanine, complete with library and fly tying area.

The dining area serves excellent food coupled with a superb wine cellar, while the fully licensed bar is an attractive place to enjoy a complementary, pre-dinner drink. The lounge is quiet area and a comfortable focal point, where guests can gather at the end of every day to share their adventures.
