Introduction
Located in the charming town of Överkalix about an hour and a half from Luleå, this hotel offers 60 spacious en suite rooms in the main building, some with a private balcony for aurora watching. There are also two suites complete with private sauna.
Along the river’s edge, around 300m from the main building, are six semi-detached Aurora Cabins accommodating 2-4 people. Each has two bedrooms and a living room with TV.
The resort also features a charmingly renovated villa with features dating back to the 17th century and sleeping 8-12 people in six bedrooms. There is also a living room and lounge area with a fireplace.
The hotel features two saunas, an indoor Jacuzzi and a lounge and bar ideal for relaxing after a day outside. The main restaurant overlooks the river and serves locally-sourced dishes. There is also a riverside wood heated sauna and an outside hot tub, both at an additional cost.

Rooms
Standard Rooms have twin beds, either pushed together or separate, WC & shower, a comfortable seating area and a TV. Standard rooms can take one extra bed.
Aurora Rooms have twin beds, either pushed together or separate, WC & shower, a comfortable seating area and a TV. All Aurora rooms have a private balcony or terrace – perfect for northern lights viewing. Aurora rooms with a terrace also have a bunk bed for up to 2 children.
Suites with Sauna have a double bed, bathroom with a WC, shower and sauna, large comfortable seating area, panoramic view and a TV. Suites can take one extra bed or interconnect with a standard room.
Aurora Cabins are semi-detached 2 bedroom chalets, located by the river and approximately 300 metres from the main building. The cabins have a north facing terrace and a living room with a sofa and TV. One bedroom has a double bed and the other one has a bunk bed.
