Introduction

Hotel Geysir is a modern family run property located opposite the hot spring area which gave the hotel its name. Home to the world-famous Strokkur geyser, the Geysir geothermal area gave its name to geysers the world over.

The accommodation is part of the Geysir Centre which consists of a building complex with restaurant, souvenir shop, outdoor and clothing store, snack shop and Geysir museum all within walking distance.

Geysir Restaurant offers a dining experience that reflects the natural beauty of its surroundings. The restaurant uses fresh, local ingredients to create a menu that features both traditional Icelandic dishes and international cuisine
