Island Passage

Introduction

This vessel offers a luxury travel experience with capacity for just 24 child-free guests, considerably less than similar sized small ships and is designed to provide the glamour and exclusivity of luxury private motor-yacht cruising, along with an appealing dash of soft adventure.

Max capacity: 24 passengers

Onboard accommodation comprises 12 spacious, individually designed cabins which feature rich timber panelling and handmade New Zealand Kauri furniture. Each cabin is fitted with DVD, audio and TV and all are individually air conditioned. The Ocean Staterooms and Bridge Deck Suites have doors opening directly onto the outer deck. The Expedition Cabins enjoy ocean views and natural light from two portholes. Each of the cabins has its own spacious private en-suite facility and these are serviced daily.

Life on board is like staying at a legendary boutique hotel that offers different sea views every day. The “Island Passage” carries purpose-built landing craft, three large tenders, sea kayaks, fishing gear and snorkelling equipment. Fishing is available on a casual basis. One tender is used for 4-6 guests with a guide for approximately 2 hours on fishing days. The helicopter is available as required (at extra cost).

Island Passage refurbishment
An extensive refit of the cabins, saloon and outdoor areas on board the ‘Island Passage’ will take place during October 2016. A brand new LANAI will be added on the bridge deck with comfortable seating modelled after colonial raffles sofas to ensure you never miss a minute of the magnificent ever-changing seascape. Traditional teak furniture and steamer chairs add to the comfort and ambience of this additional alfresco lounge/relaxing area.

New cabins will comprise 6 Castaway Cabins, 3 Hideaway Suites and 3 Runaway Suites.
