Kongsfjord Guesthouse

Introduction

A small and cosy guesthouse set in a peaceful area of breathtaking scenery, Kongsfjord offers only 18 rooms in restored pre-war buildings and cottages.

Sitting just metres from the sea, it is hard not to be impressed by the raw natural surroundings. There is plenty in the area to keep guests active and your host, Ase, can show you many of the area’s bird colonies and local wildlife.

During the summer, bonfires are lit on the beach to enjoy the evenings and short walks can be taken in the area. A number of excursions are available, including tours out onto the water or visits to the a working fish factory. A quiet and homey atmosphere, all rooms are set in a group of restored farmhouses are tastefully furnished, combining modern facilities within traditional buildings.

The hotel’s dining room features traditional Norwegian home cooking and is fully licensed to allow guests to sample a local beer or fine bottle of wine along with their meal.
