La Cantera Lodge, Iguazu

Introduction

Immersed in three hectares of jungle, La Cantera Jungle Lodge offers a truly tropical stay within easy reach of Iguazu Falls.

Despite its location in the heart of the Iryapú Nature Reserve, La Cantera is just a 20 minute drive from Iguazu Falls and only 15 minutes from the airport. Yet it feels a million miles away, surrounded by lush jungle where you may spot toucans, howler monkeys, giant otters, caiman and even jaguars.

This boutique lodge was carefully designed to have minimal impact on the natural environment and is well integrated into its surroundings, with wooden board walks connecting the 24 guest rooms and the use of natural materials throughout.

Each room is brightly decorated with natural patterns and wooden furniture, and features large windows and a private balcony overlooking the jungle. The rooms also include air-conditioning, LCD TV and free Wi-Fi.

A buffet breakfast is provided and the on-site restaurant El Boyero also serves lunch and dinner with menus inspired by both international and local cuisine. The lodge’s bar and wine cellar offer an extensive selection of Argentinian wines.

Other facilities at La Cantera include a large outdoor pool with hammocks and sun loungers, a sun terrace with a hot tub, and a choice of spa treatments. For the more active, the lodge offers daily guided walks through the jungle, and mountain bike rental for independent exploration.
