Pikes Waterfront Lodge, Fairbanks

Introduction

Friendly and welcoming, the 208 room Pike’s Waterfront Lodge is family run and even the resident ducks (making their home in the ‘Lucky Duck Hotel’) are happy to welcome visitors. Resting on the banks of the Chena River, the lodge is conveniently also only minutes from Fairbanks Airport.

Offering spectacular views which are enhanced by a stunning collection of Alaskan art, the grounds can also be enjoyed on a stroll through the enchanting summer park and river walk. The lodge sits next to the famous Pike’s Landing Restaurant, which was opened in 1969 and thrived during the Alaska’s pipeline days. It is rumoured that the owner was so successful that he paid his mortgage with the jukebox money and put his children through university with the pool table money. Now a site of fine-dining, the patio is a wonderful place to relax in the summer months.

Each of the 208 guestrooms have private bathrooms, TVs, hairdryers, coffee makers, iron/ironing boards, microwaves and refrigerators. There is also a riverside deck, lounge, steam room & sauna.
