Perfect for families and couples alike, Ranua Resort is home to a selection of cosy Holiday Villas and distinctive Arctic Igloos. There’s also the neighbouring wildlife park, home to a variety of rescued Arctic species, as well as a restaurant and a shop selling local treats and souvenirs.
Surrounded by forests and marshland, there’s plenty of space for winter activities. You can try snowmobiling or snowshoeing, take a reindeer or husky safari, or – if you’ve been very good – even meet Santa Claus.
At the end of the day’s adventures cosy up by the fire, relax in your private sauna, or settle in for a night of aurora-viewing.
Top tip – meet incredible human beings and hear real life stories. Get chatting with locals and unlock a treasure trove of stories about the northern lights and surrounding areas.
