The ReefSuite Experience

Sleep with the fishes… and enjoy a whole new perspective of the Great Barrier Reef. This brand new overnight experience offers the chance to witness Australia’s marine life up close from your own private bedroom aquarium.

Your adventure starts with a cruise through the Whitsunday Islands to the outer Great Barrier Reef. On arrival at the Reefworld Pontoon at Hardy Reef, there will be time to enjoy a variety of marine activities including a guided snorkelling tour and semi-submersible cruise.

Once the day visitors have left you will sit down to a delicious dinner on the Pontoon deck, under the endless stars of the southern skies, before heading down to your suite. The Reefsuites offer premium king or twin guest rooms located below sea level, with floor-to-ceiling reinforced glass windows overlooking the spectacular underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. Better than any on-demand tv, you will have the chance to witness the night-time activities of tropical fish, reef sharks and sea turtles, before drifting off to sleep. Morning brings new marine visitors swimming past your window as you wake up in time for breakfast. Your adventure ends with the scenic cruise back to the Whitsundays.

The overnight experience includes return cruise transfers from Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island, guided snorkelling tour with all equipment provided, semi-submersible cruise, access to the Reefworld underwater observatory, all meals and beverages including wine or beer with dinner, accommodation in an underwater Reefsuite with private ensuite bathroom. Helicopter flights and scuba-diving are available at additional cost.
