Introduction

Skalakot is a new boutique style hotel on the south coast. Built on the Skalkot family horse farm and adjoining the family home the hotel emphasises Icelandic hospitality, looking on their guests as part of the family.

The 14 bedrooms, a range of standard rooms and suites are individually designed and echo Art Deco design, featuring 43″ HDTV, WiFi, tea kettle, hairdryer and bathrobes.

Enjoy a rich and healthy breakfast, weekend brunch or an evening meal in the hotel restaurant which offers fresh local products and seasonal specialties such as Arctic char, salmon, langoustine or shellfish, and their own fresh vegetables and homemade bread.
