Restaurants

Spa Hotel Rauhalahti provides a variety of dining options. Restaurant Sofia C serves lunches and dinners with a wide-ranging menu from pizzas to steaks, and special meals are available for children. The smaller and more intimate Restaurant Old Man Lode offers an à la carte menu.

During the summer, the outdoor terrace is ideal for enjoying a snack or a pre-dinner drink. Restaurant Estradi serves as the area’s premier dance venue, showcasing Finland’s leading artists and orchestras, while the nightclub, Club R, caters to karaoke enthusiasts.

The lakeside Lumberjack’s Lodge, Jätkänkämppä, hosts special Savonian evenings every Tuesday night (also on Thursdays from June to August), featuring live music, smoke sauna sessions, swimming in the lake, lumberjack performances, and traditional Savonian buffet dinners. Guests have the option to purchase dinner alone or include access to the smoke sauna for a truly authentic experience.

Accommodation

The Rauhalahti Apartment Hotel, located just 100 meters from the main hotel, features apartments with open-plan bedroom, living room, and kitchenette equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, and fridge. Some apartments also include a small sauna.

Completed in 2020, the Rauhalahti Studio Hotel offers studio rooms with direct entrances from the yard. Each studio room features twin beds, a sofa bed, and a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, iron, and ironing board. The bathrooms include showers, toilets, and hairdryers. Studios also feature covered terraces and air conditioning.

Spa

Hotel Rauhalahti Spa boasts an indoor 20-meter pool, an outdoor pool, and two whirlpools—one hot and one cold. There are also two shallow pools for children, separate saunas for male and female guests, and a shared steam room. Spa treatments are available Monday through Saturday and can be pre-booked or arranged locally, subject to availability.

Activities

The hotel offers numerous leisure activities, including e-Citybike rentals, paddle tennis, squash, horseback riding, bowling, and minigolf. Additionally, guests can rent boats, canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards from a nearby rental facility.

A boat transfer service is available between the hotel and Kuopio city harbour during the summer months.
