Tuckamore Lodge, Main Brook

Introduction

Situated on Newfoundland’s Viking Trail at Main Brook, near St Anthony, Tuckamore Lodge is appropriately Scandinavian in style. However, the Lodge is decorated with works by local artists and you can expect a bona fide warm Newfoundland welcome from your hosts.

This wilderness property sits on the banks of Southwest Pond, surrounded by spruce forest which is home to a variety of animals both large and small. From the extensive decks of Tuckamore Lodge you can enjoy the morning song of birds, the frantic activity of squirrels, and maybe observe a moose or two grazing on the fresh green grass.

The Lodge comprises two main buildings, a pine A-frame and a white cedar lodge, each housing a dining room where breakfast is included daily and lunch and dinner are also available. The 8 guest rooms are connected to the main cedar lodge and each features a private ensuite bathroom. Tuckamore also features a sauna, hot tub, billiard room, library, tv lounge and gym.
