Motorhome Rental in New Zealand

Home Destinations Australasia New Zealand Motorhome Rental in New Zealand

A motorhome is ideal for touring New Zealand, offers total freedom and means you always have a home for the night. We offer a comprehensive range of vehicles from the following suppliers to best meet your requirements. Maui is Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Transport. (Qualmark is the official quality assurance seal for tourism).

Winter Travel

For Motorhome travel in New Zealand’s winter months (June-August) we would recommend purchasing a “Winter Combo” (extra duvet, thermos and hot water bottle and/or heater). Prices and further details are available from our sales team on request.

Holiday Parks

One of the pleasures of driving a motorhome around New Zealand is that you can park free of charge just about anywhere away from the main tourist areas. Those wanting a little more in the way of facilities are very well catered for with powered and non-powered campsites found throughout the country, often in first-rate locations. Many parks now also offer a wide range of cabins, motel units, villas and backpacker style units. There is also the option of the cheaper, but basic, Department of Conservation (DOC) campsites.

All vehicles are high-quality and under 2 and a half years of age with a guaranteed bed layout. With WiFi hotspot functionality, an App featuring “how to” operational videos, information on how to find and book campgrounds and activities, plus the location of fuel stops, you will have help at every turn.

Our motorhome rental is quoted on an on request basis as prices can vary considerably depending on size of vehicle, dates of hire, duration and pick-up and drop-off locations. Maui Motorhomes operate a dynamic pricing policy which means that prices change according to the time of booking and popularity of the vehicle type – early booking is therefore recommended to secure the best possible price.

Please note that minimum rental periods vary from 5-20 days, depending on the time of year of travel.
