A unique excursion that carries travellers from Fairbanks to Alaska’s northernmost settlement of Utqiagvik (previously known as Barrow), this trip provides a memorable flight over Alaska’s vast and seemingly endless Arctic wilderness.
The nine-passenger plane allows for plenty of sightseeing along the way, including a stop en route at the small community of Coldfoot in order to purchase lunch and stretch your legs.
On arrival in Utqiagvik, a local guide will lead you on a two hour sightseeing tour of the village, where you will discover first hand what life is like for Alaska’s Inupiat Eskimos. It is incredible to believe that they have happily made this harsh environment home for centuries. You will have the opportunity to paddle in the Arctic Ocean itself and explore Utqiagvik at your leisure before returning by air to Fairbanks. If time permits you may also wish to consider our 2-day package, which includes an overnight stay in Utqiagvik.

Your holiday should feel like it’s been designed just for you. I’m here to make that happen with a personal touch and local insights.
