Introduction
Enjoy a full day adventurous 4WD tour up to pristine Cape Leveque on the Dampier Peninsula. Travel up the red dirt 4WD track and learn about the area’s fascinating history as a largely Aboriginal-owned land.
Visit the Beagle Bay Aboriginal and Lombadina Aboriginal Community on the way north to Cape Leveque. Experience a working pearl farm and learn about the processes involved in culturing pearls. Enjoy a picnic lunch as you revel in the spectacular scenery surrounding you. Continue on to One Arm Point Community and view the islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago before learning about the community’s aquaculture hatchery.
Continue to Cape Leveque (known locally as Kooljaman) and enjoy time relaxing on the pristine beaches as you admire the stunning coastline the cape is famous for. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure here snorkelling, swimming or taking long walks along the beach. The tour returns to Broome mid afternoon.
