Helicopter Flightseeing: Denali

A fifty minute helicopter flight carrying passengers over the spine of the Alaska Range offers spectacular views over the area’s towering peaks and ancient glaciers.

Approaching within 25km of Denali’s cloud-piercing summit, your pilot will eagerly explain the natural wonders of Denali National Park and how they came to be created in the last ice age. The 20,320ft of rising rock and snow that makes up Denali towers over the surrounding landscape, bordered by rolling mountains and crystalline stretches of glacier, whose grace and magnitude can only really be appreciated from the air.

Crossing over the park itself, you may spot moose, black or brown bear or Dall sheep from the air and after taking in the incredible colours and harsh beauty of this jagged land, few can help but be impressed.
