Introduction

Husavik, in North East Iceland, is recognised as ‘Europe’s Whale Watching Capital’ and is also home to the fascinating Whale Museum. On this must-do 3 hour tour, you’ll sail out into Husavik’s Skjalfandi Bay in a sailing schooner (a converted traditional oak fishing boat) in search of Iceland’s big friendly giants: blue whale, fin whale, humpback whale, orca, minke whale and sperm whale.

As well as Iceland’s whale species, there’s also the possibility of spotting white-beaked dolphin, harbour porpoise and other marine life on your expedition, so keep your eyes peeled and your camera at the ready!

Hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls are served on board and sailing clothing is available to borrow upon request.
