Overview

For an even more in-depth exploration of polar icy waters, experienced divers can take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to scuba dive here. Polar diving reveals a world of ice, where glaciers, immense icebergs and a unique blend of marine life await, often in never-before-dived sites.

  • All divers must be trained, certified scuba divers with proof of certification beyond entry level, i.e. Advanced Diver certification or equivalent rating, issued by a recognised scuba training organisation
  • In addition, adequate training and experience must be held in dry suit diving
  • To ensure your safety and enjoyment and to avoid any unnecessary problems on the trip, recent diving experience and proof of a minimum of 20 logged dives using a dry suit are required prior to joining the voyage
  • You will be accompanied by a qualified dive master who will guide you through your dives and ensure Standard Safety Diving Practices are adhered to at all times

Prices do vary depending on specific departure and ship; please contact our team of polar specialists for guidance.

Pre-booking is essential. All activities are weather-dependent – passenger safety is paramount.

Put the camera down. No words can describe how it feels to be immersed in the intense nature of Antarctica. Take a stroll with a king penguin, watch a baby seal gang rough and tumble at your feet, and whatever you do, stop, take a breath and really feel it. It's wild.
