Sea Eagle Safari by RIB

Introduction

Travel by RIB to search for the stunning white-tailed sea eagle.

From Svolvær walk to the base and dress in the provided survival suit and gloves before boarding the RIB. The white-tailed sea eagle has a wingspan of almost 2.5 metres and is Northern Europe’s largest bird of prey. Nature tours differ from day to day, the light and weather change, and the birds come and go, but there are lots of sea eagles in the area, so you have a good chance of seeing these majestic birds at close quarters. On the way back to the Havila Voyages ship by RIB, you also get a closer look at the “Fiskerkona” statue at the entrance to Svolvær. Time on RIB approximately 1 hour.
