Siberia Experience, Lake Wanaka

Introduction

Departing from Makarora, the half-day Siberia Experience Fly-Walk-Jetboat tour is a thrilling combination tour by air, land and water.

Beginning from the air, you will depart for a 25-minute scenic flight over Mt Aspiring National Park, a jagged area of mountains and river valleys that surrounds the 3033 metre Mt Aspiring.

After landing, you will follow the Siberia Valley on foot, travelling on a 3-hour bush walk to the bubbling Wilkin River, where your jet boat awaits.

Boarding the jet boat, you will depart for a 30-minute ride, zipping through the lush green bush and forests while your driver shows off the knuckle-whitening acrobatics that make jet boats so popular.
